AC controller fault #35337 (CORE One L)

What happened?

The printer is showing the message "Power grid is operating outside of specification". This error message is triggered in case of an issue with the electrical network.

Error name: AC controller fault

Error code: #35337

How to fix it?

Ensure the printer is connected directly to a stable power source. Avoid using UPS units or generators.

If the issue occurs with the printer connected directly to an electrical socket, we recommend checking for issues on the electrical grid. The power supply operates with an input in the range of 100-240 VAC, 50-60Hz.

This happens to me at least weekly sometimes for no obvious reason and while not printing. The article says to avoid UPS, but a quality UPS with line conditioning is a great assurance of long print jobs if power gets weird or blinks. We can't all guarantee an amazing power grid, so the sensitivity needs to be reasonable.

I have had the same error twice in the last 2 days. Am now afraid to start a long print.

Come on guys...... This is getting ridiculous. I have Several printers including PRUSA printers that are all on the SAME power circuit. The CoreOne L is the ONLY ONE that shuts down constantly.... And yes it does it when I move it to another circuit, in fact it does it when connected to a $1000.00 Dollar line conditioner that runs Lab equipment. This is NOT a power issue this is a CORE ONE L issue......

PLEASE FIX THIS. It's reminiscent of the one the MK4S had that you simply turned off the notice and shutdown for.

FIX IT...... PLEASE....

Hello. Because the CORE One L uses different power supply and AC heated heatbed, the printer behavior is not similar to the other Prusa printers. That is why the CORE One L might be more sensitive to the power network. We are working on the fix.

WHEN? Is there any time frame. I am now at the point where this printer is unusable. And as your WELL aware this is not unique to me…. I’m just the biggest complainer, but the truth is i have a 2K dollar paper weight.

I've also had this issue with my core 1L this evening. Everything was working fine as I was printing PLA up until tonight. I've only owned the printer for about one or two months. Once I tried to print PETG, I got the error "AC controller fault." The bed is operating outside of specifications with error code 35338. I spent about 2 hours on the chat with the technical support person, and we tried a lot of things. We tried downgrading the firmware. That did not work. We tried upgrading the firmware back to 6.5.2, but that did not work. They asked to remove the back cover so that I could check the connections and ensure they were solid. Even unplugging it several times and plugging it back in did not help. A few times during the operation, I was able to get back into the main menu, but when we went back and tried to print with PLA, the red screen came up, and I got the same error. After spending about three hours on this this evening, I had to stop and go to bed because it was extremely exhausting.

I have owned the process MK 3S DMK four, as well as a core one. Each one of them is great, and I would sell the previous one to upgrade to the latest one. The core one L was working great until the situation, and now the printer is dead in the water. I hope Preuss technical support can help me get this thing back up and running as it was previously steady as a champ
