After more than a year, I started using my SL1S printer again. When I turned it on, it showed this 10501 error. I tried restarting, upgrading to the latest firmware 1.8.0, I powered down and powered up. Still, I was getting the same error. I formatted the USB drive (FAT32), copied 1.8.0.raucb to the drive, started the printer. Still same error. Copying the logs to the USB drive was taking too long. So I canceled it.

Last resort was to downgrade to firmware 1.7 and did a factory reset. Restarted and this time, the printer started and walked me through the system test and calibration. All good. Just wondering what happened and why my printer was behaving this way after more than a year of non-use.

Got this error on firmware 1.8.0. System hanged when trying to upload log files. Reverted back to 1.7.2 and printer is working again. Waiting on 1.8.1
