What happened?

The Prusa CORE One/+ and the Original Prusa MK4/S and MK3.9/S can be equipped with an MMU3 upgrade kit. Having the MMU3 upgrade kit installed significantly increases the number of loads and unloads.

After a set number of consecutive failed loads and unloads, the printer shows the message "Printer has detected multiple consecutive filament loading errors. We recommend checking Nextruder main-plate".

Error name: Maintenace failure warning

Error code: #31116 (CORE One) #26116 (MK4S) #13116 (MK4) #27116 (MK3.9S) #21116 (MK3.9)

How to fix it?

Follow the MMU3 regular maintenance guidelines, in particular the steps related to the Nextruder main plate

Thanks. I had the same warning. My issue was I had replaced the PTFE with one that had a 3mm ID and the filament was occasionally get hung up on the edge of the coupling as it was about to go into the extruder. Changed to a 2.5 ID tube and all is well, especially now that I know how to clear the error message

The location for resetting the maintenance counter appears to have changed for some of the printers. You can now find it at: Settings -> Hardware -> Printhead -> Nextruder maintenance.

I think that this simply resets the counter that triggers the message about maintenance after 30k filament changes.

This menu change is in the Core One. It is probably in the MK4S as well.

Had to go quite far through into the MMU maintenance article to find out how to clear the error, which was unrelated to the Nextruder plate- rather a bad grub screw in one of the MMU Pulleys.

I think this part could be copied into this article:

- Once the underlying cause of the failed loading issue is solved, a number of consecutive successful loads are necessary before the warning message can clear out.
Alternatively, it is possible to clear it in Settings -> Hardware -> Nextruder maintenance

ani já to tam nemuzu najit a je fakt otravná hláška. Mám MK4S a MMU3 používám velice málo a když tak funguje skvěle, bez problému. 98% tisknu s vypnutou MMU a stejně hláška přetrvává
