                    About Prusa Research

We are the largest maker of 3D printers in Europe and the United States.

Founded as a one-man startup in 2012 by Josef Prusa, a Czech hobbyist, maker, and inventor. In just 15 years, we've grown into a company of more than 1,200 people. Every month, we design, build, and ship over 10,000 innovative and secure 3D printers from our headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic, and Delaware, USA, to users in more than 160 countries.

When slicing a project for the Prusa Pro HT90, a dedicated PrusaSlicer profile is needed. This profile is included directly within the software and can be activated using the built-in Configuration Wizard, or downloaded manually from our Help page.

                  Prusa Slicer - Configuration Wizard

The presets are downloaded when installing PrusaSlicer.

                  1. On the top menu, go to Configuration -> Configuration Wizard.
                  2. Find the Prusa Pro HT on the right side menu in the Configuration Wizard.
                  3. Select all that apply, click "Next" to continue the configuration, or click "Finish" to return to the main Plater.

                  Download from printer

Starting from firmware 1.1.0, it is possible to download the PrusaSlicer profiles from your printer. Note that it is important that a USB drive is connected to the printer to download the profiles. For the download, go to the printer menu at More -> Slicer Profiles and click continue. A new page will open with the option Export slicer profiles to USB.

                  Download from Web Interface

Go to the printer's menu at More -> Settings -> Network, and copy the IPv4 to your browser. On the web interface, go to Slicer on the left side and click to download slicer profiles.

Prusa Slicer - download from configuration sources

If for any reason the profile preset does not show automatically, it is possible to download the presets in PrusaSlicer.

                  1. On the top left go to Menu -> Configuration -> Configuration Wizard.

                  1. Go to Configuration Sources on the left menu and click the "our website" link.

                  1. This will direct you to the page where you can find all PrusaSlicer official profiles. Download the Prusa Pro HT profiles.
                  1. In PrusaSlicer, click "Load".

                  1. Select the .zip file with the presets. Do not unzip the file.

                  1. Click "Next", and the configurations will be shown.

                  1. Find the Prusa Pro HT on the right side menu in the Configuration Wizard.

                  1. Select all that apply, click "Next" to continue the configuration, or click "Finish" to return to the main Plater.

                  Hi,

I have already downloaded PrusaSlicer and linked my account to the printer. However, when I open the Configuration Wizard and try to add the HT90 printer, it does not appear in the list of available printers.

Could you please let me know what I might be doing wrong or if there is something missing in my settings?

                  Thank you for your help.

                  Hi -
We have a HT90 and I downloaded the slicer configurations directly from the printer, following these instructions. Now I have presets in my PrusaSlicer for new materials PEN and Tullomere. When I try to export these ( File > Export > Export Config ) I do get a *.ini file saved out to a USB stick. However when I try to import that file to the HT90, I get an "Invalid File" error. How do I get the new material configurations loaded onto the HT90?
                  Thank you,
                  Ryan

Hi Ryan, thank you for your question. There’s no need to re-import the file into the printer. Just slice the object in PrusaSlicer and send the G-code to the printer.
                  Happy printing!

                  Hi Jan -
We're printing with PEN ( https://www.flxr.engineering/application ) and Tullomere ( https://z-polymers.com/product-info#4d589d31-be19-4255-932a-0e8042fd4182 ). These materials do not exist in the HT90 printer software. When I load the filament there is no selection for either of these materials. I can load the PEN using the ASA settings or Tullomere using the PEEK settings (have to be quick before it smokes). Then when I print I get a warning about the wrong filament being loaded. I then choose "Print Anyway" and I do get a print. So there is a work around for printing.

I am printing sliced files from a USB stick. The material list is not getting updated from those files.

How do I get the new materials (PEN, Tullomere) listed on the printer as material selections?

                  Thank you,
                  Ryan

Hi Ryan, thanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, the printer doesn’t currently support this option, but we’ll try to implement it in the future.

                  Hi,
Profiles for the HT90 printer are available only to customers who have purchased the printer. If you are one of these customers and would like the profiles sent to a different email address than the one used for the purchase, please contact our 24/7 technical support.
                  Happy printing!
