I'm trying to understand how to use M72 to set the printer to the ready state at the end of a print so it can automatically proceed with the next job in the queue. Per the description, it seems like all that should be needed is to add "M72 S1" to the end of the print file, but even when I do that the printer is still completing the print job and ending to the "Not Ready" state. Is there more that needs to be done to use this command correctly?
Description for M109 needs updatingThe code now correctly follows the Marlin standard in that M109 Rtemp will wait for cooldown as well as heat up. M109 Stemp will only wait for heatup The current text says (Parameters S and R are treated identically. Command always waits for both cool down and heat up. If no parameters are supplied waits for previously set extruder temperature.).The example code also says M104 when it should say M109
How accurate is that list of commands? I'm using pronterface and tyring to disable thermal model on my mk3.5 to allow use of unsupported hotend. Sending the M310 S0 command returns "unknown command". Is this an error in itself (not recognising that command)?
Hi Martin. For MK3.5, you should be rather looking at Buddy compatible G-codes article instead. Also, so far, there is no thermal model on MK3.5. A 3rd party hotend might a matter of tuning the PID parameters, in case its thermal capacity and power parameters differ.
Thanks for the tip David. For anyone else looking for MK3.5 gcode commands, just igonr the "relevant to" section at the top of the article where it says MK3.5.
Question for XL users. I (and others) have created front of bed mounted brushes to clean the nozzle before a print starts. However this triggers collision detection, so in order for the startup GCode to run without the collision crashes we have to disable collison detection. Is there some gcode means of disabling the detection before the cleaning moves and then re-enabling it after the moves are completed so it'll serve it's intended function during the print?
I have an i3 MK3S+ kit, firmware 3.13.3, and Prusa Slicer version 2.7.2. In the printer configuration, what type of firmware should I use? RepRap/Sprinter ? Can I use another type? NORBERTO COELHO DA SILVA ORDER NUMBER. 1651439400

While most i3 G-codes are compatible, the MK3.5 shouldn’t be listed here. Thanks for the mention. Fixed.
