With PrusaSlicer, you can print multiple models at once, each with slightly different settings. For example, with different infill or layer height.

Right-click (Advanced mode) on a model and pick either:

                  • Infill
                  • Layers and perimeters
                  • Support material

In the Expert mode, an additional Add settings option is available that lets you adjust settings such as speed, extrusion width, infill/perimeter overlap and more.

Alternatively, you can right-click on the editing icon in the Object list.

A new window will appear in the right panel called Object settings to modify. Changing these settings will affect only the relevant object and its instances. You can remove the settings overwrite by clicking on the red cross icon. When you do so, the global settings will once again be applied.

I have a filament that gives different textures at different temperatures. Is there a way I can assign different temperatures to different objects while printing with the same material? If I set it to a different extruder for a different material, the filament used is shifted and I am no longer using the filament I want to use.

Hello. Unless you have a multimaterial system (MMU3 or multitool XL), the change of material and temperature can be done by programming a pause in the gcode, then change proceed with the change of settings on the printer screen (Tune).

I am working with an XL multi tool. Instead of changing the material in the current nozzle or moving to a different nozzle, I am trying to just make an adjustment to nozzle temperature and extrusion multiplier according to the object being printed .

In Prusa Slicer, under Print Settings > Advanced, I see that "Slicing" section has several items that are not herein documented.  In particular, I see that it has "XY Size Compensation" which seems to provide a place to correct dimensional disparity on X-Y planes.  But there is zero documentation for this feature.  And I note there is no equivalent Z compensation. If all 3 of these items were provided and documented, it would make it possible to compensate for dimensional differences between the model and the printed product, other than by scaling the model (which is what I currently use).

The print should have only a small deviation from the model, if the change is too large then you need to check your axes. This feature specifically is meant to be used only for small adjustments (like the size of threads or holes), not to completely fix your model size. If you wish to use this, add positive values to enlarge the prints on the YX axes, and negative values to shrink the prints on the XY axes.

Is it possible to get (Auto Speed) added from the Print_Settings/Speed section? That I can access when using expert mode from above.
"In the Expert mode, an additional Add settings option is available that lets you adjust settings such as speed, extrusion width, infill/perimeter overlap and more."
I am trying to print several objects sequentially and change the (Max volumetric speed) of each object.

Hello. I try to make plasma treatment for single extruder 3D printer. And for this purpose I need quasi multi color printing. It mean two color printing at the same layer by different colors and speed profiles. I was try to search how to do this in internet YT and ofcource in this site but didn't find anything that could help. Cause if I try to put two same models on hot bed at the same place and try select two different profiles of color and speed to this models I can't do this, cause slicer automaticaly change profile for second object... If some body know how to do this, please write here.

I would like to have an easy way to set temp's, i have 5 nozzle's and if i pick pla i only get 1 globle temp acrossed all extruders, its like I have some pla that runs good at 200c and another that at 200c drips all over but does good at 180c i guess you make a profile for each extruder or something, and a set stand by temp for each would be great. I am just learning your slicer so if there is a way to do this let me know. thank you for all your great work

When you set up a printer with multiple nozzles, you pick the filament profile for each of them independently. So you can create profiles like PLA180, PLA200, PLA215 and assign them to your desired nozzles. Check the MMU docs ;)
