What happened?

The printer or Prusa Connect interface displayed the message: "File error".

This warning is shown when there is a problem reading, loading, or interpreting the print file in the preview or print queue. It may appear when uploading a file through Prusa Connect, or when preparing a print from the USB drive.

Error name: Print preview file error

Error code: #31807 (CORE One) #17807 (XL) #26807 (MK4S) #13807 (MK4) #27807 (MK3.9S) #21807 (MK3.9) #28807 (MK3.5S) #23807 (MK3.5) #12807 (MINI)

How to fix it?

  • Verify file format: Ensure the file is a valid Código G Binario or G-code, generated for your specific printer model.
  • Reupload the file: Delete the problematic file from the USB drive. Then, copy it again or upload it from Prusa Connect.
  • Try another file: Test with a different file to see if the error persists.
  • Check USB drive: Ensure the USB drive is FAT32-formatted and in good condition. Try another drive if needed.

If the issue appears after slicing, re-slice the model using the latest printer profile and export again. Check for any slicing errors before uploading.

If problems persist across multiple files or printers, do not hesitate to contact our Support and provide a copy of the affected file for analysis.
