IMPORTANT SHIPPING UPDATE (June 23rd, 2025)

Today, we have updated the shipping estimates for the majority of pending Prusa CORE One (kits, assembled printers and conversion kits) orders. The good news is that most of you will get your CORE One 3D printer several days ahead of schedule. However, to be perfectly transparent, in a minority of cases, the printer will arrive a few days later, in worst cases by up to 7 days. In very rare cases, it may be even a few more days than that.

Basically, thanks to the changes in production capacity and optimizations of the shipping queue, a majority of orders will be shipped faster - this means your printer will be delivered earlier than previously estimated. Another large batch of orders will be processed and shipped either precisely on time or a couple of days later. In very rare cases, it might be more than a week - we will reach out to these customers and offer a solution.

We understand that any change in the delivery schedule is frustrating, and we sincerely apologize for any complications these shifts may cause. We’re doing our best to ship your order as quickly as possible. To give you a better idea of how the system works, we’d like to give you a little behind-the-scenes look at how our production and shipping processes work.

As for our production, there are daily production targets for each of our products - how many CORE One kits to make, how many XL 3D printers, and so on. Our operators do everything they can to meet (and even exceed) these targets. However, many external factors come into play - our production is a living organism, after all. This means that inevitably, there are situations where we’re unable to meet our targets, despite the maximum effort of everyone involved. Some of these situations are short-term (1-2 days), and they are barely noticeable in the total volume of orders. Some of them require a more complex solution, which takes time. To be a bit more specific: last week, we expanded our printer parts production (our 3D print farm) to a new room and added many new CORE One printers. In the process, we hit the building’s power supply limit, which forced us to partially shut down the farm and carry out the necessary electrical work. During this time, we met our production targets at approximately 80%, and this may have caused delays for some orders.

And now for shipping. This department works not only with manufactured printers, but also with filaments and other items we have in stock. The shipping queue system automatically calculates the availability of individual items, taking into account the production plan and its fulfillment, incoming orders, and more. The system then creates correct combinations and calculates the shipping date. It is an incredibly complex algorithm with tens of thousands of combinations and variables. The result is the date we show you in our e-shop. Any change in one of these parameters used for the calculation can affect the date you see.

We always want to be as exact and transparent as possible, which is why we were updating the date in our shipping table several times a day. As it turns out, it caused more confusion than clarity: the constant minor shifts back and forth aren’t an ideal experience. We decided to switch to a system that will provide you with more stable and reliable information: the date will be updated twice a week - on Monday and Thursday. We hope this change brings you a better experience, and as we grow, we're working hard to improve how we share updates and set delivery expectations, so future product launches go more smoothly for everyone.

Current lead time estimates for new orders

Updated: June 16th, 2025

The dates are only an estimation at the date of update, specified above, and rely on the actual production. We're doing our best but please be aware that it can shift for the lead time products. We will update here and on the product pages accordingly.

The lead time estimate applies to standalone products, other products in the order may increase the lead time.

If you've ordered a product in a bundle, the lead time of the order is set based on the product in the bundle with the longest lead time.
