The Object list is located in the right panel and shows a hierarchy of:
- Objects (models)
- Instances
- Custom parameters for each object
- Modifiers - Height range modifiers and Modifier meshes
- Support blockers and enforcers
You can get a clear idea of the project structure just by looking at the object tree.
You can double-click on a model name in the Object list to rename it. That can be handy when you print multiple parts with generic names exported from CAD software.
The eye icon toggles the printable property. When you disable it, the model will stay on the print bed, but the slicing software will ignore this model during the G-code generation.
Clicking on the Editing icon will open a context menu, which lets you customize the settings for the selected object.

Hello, prusaslicer will not let me rename objects.
I have tried to double left click, right click and there is no rename option, F2 will not work either.
I am trying to rename them in case I need to use the octoprint cancel objst plug-in.

Hello. The files can be renamed before importing them in the slicer. If you are referring to instances, modifiers and support enforces, they can't be renamed.

Is there any way to toggle printability (function of the eye icon) for a selected group of objects? I'd like to be able to import a hundred objects, toggle all to unprintable, select a few visually and toggle them back to printable, and then use the Arrange feature to put just those onto the print bed. As is, you can't even tab to the next eye icon to quickly go through them all with the keyboard. There's apparently no way *but* the mouse. And, with this, I don't really see why the arrange feature bothers to assemble your the objects into nice square batches, since there's no convenient way to toggle one batch at a time.

Hi Tom. I'm personally moving objects out of the print area not to get printed after importing a lot of objects at once. But yeah it's not a way convenient enough either. Right-click and Merge function gets also handy sometimes when working with several objects at once.

What does the caution symbol to the left of the name of an object indicate? I have clicked, right clicked, and hovered but don't get any additional information.

Hi, it means the model is broken and should be repaired via Netfabb. https://blog.prusaprinters.org/repair-3d-models-errors_7529/
