Prusa Connect - Camera API

The Prusa Camera API lets you connect third-party cameras to Prusa Connect. You can link your camera to a printer, then upload images (snapshots) and camera information that show up in Prusa Connect.

The documentation covers:

• How to get a camera token from Prusa Connect or the Prusa app
• How to send camera information (camera type, firmware and hardware version)
• How to upload snapshots
• Camera types, error codes and rate limits
• How to migrate from the original Prusa Connect camera endpoints

The API is for developers building their own cameras or image capture systems, and the documentation also has a machine-readable version for AI agents. If you use an ESP32-CAM board, you can start from our open-source ESP32 camera firmware, instead of writing your own.
