If you’re building your kit on top of towels/rugs to protect your table now is a good time to grab a large single piece of cardboard from the largest metal parts box and assemble this chapter on that.
Picking out dog hair and lint from the greased rods wasn’t enjoyable.
Horrible design. The Tool is nice and all, but the hole designed for the M3×30 to thread into was extremely badly dimensioned and had absolutely no grip. The screw should have been a few mm longer or the hole just better designed. As a matter of fact, why would you not use heat set inserts? Really horrible experience and caused me to have to spend another 4 Euros+ shipping as I had to get a replacement printed part. (That, and another SINGLE pulley for 6! euros but that was on me because of the Threadlock fix I attempted) If there is ever a revised version of this printer this is absolutely a part that 100% needs changing.
Following the directions in the next steps I needed the screws as they are listed on the preparation page and shown in the pictures (4x M3x6 and 6x M3x10).
