โฌขThere might be thermal pads stuck to the rear of the xBuddy board. Remove the thermal pads and clean up any glue residue.
Do not use sharp object to remove the pads.

Like brimfielda said. there are small pads which can be used to remove it.
Alcohol cleans the pads after removal.

the only problem one for me was the big pad. it dissolved as i was removing it so it was a bit of a pain. a small plastic spudger worked wonders for removing it

There's a film on the bottom holding it on. I could get it off with a fingernail once the bulk was off.

I used a 3d printer plastic scraper to remove the thermal pads safely and cleaned area with alcohol pads.
