What happened?

Most likely, the error is not caused by a hardware fault in the AC controller box, but by a firmware issue.

How to fix it?
Perform a Hard reset (USB with FW needed) from the 工場出荷時の状態へのリセット (CORE One, MK4/S, MK3.9/S, MK3.5/S, MINI/+, XL) article, with the latest firmware on the root folder of the USB drive.
