Prusa telescopic spoolholder, also known as Prusa bayonet spoolholder, is a spoolholder solution to fit in as many of our printers as possible, to which either spools or our USS Drybox can be placed.
A telescopic spoolholder set includes the needed puck or pucks, and black screws recommended to use for installation. When installing the puck, it is necessary to check the grooves that fit into the sheet metal.
It is also possible to purchase a spare spoolholder, without puck and screws.
In both cases, the spoolholder has two arrest points, to be compatible with both 1kg and 2kg spools, and is compatible also with printed pucks. To extend the telescopic spoolholder, gently turn it counter-clockwise until you hear the locking mechanism snap.
⬢ Do not use excessive force to unlock the spoolholder, or you risk disengaging it from the puck holder!
⬢ Pull the spoolholder to extend it.
⬢ Lock the extended spoolholder by turning it clockwise until the lock snaps in place.

The spoolholder can be customized with snaps (caps). On Printables, either a number or a blank for your own design.
