The Prusa Pro HT90 magnetic heatbed is designed to hold a removable double-sided flexible spring-steel sheet, designed specifically for easy removal of printed objects from the print surface.

The HighTemp print sheet is intended for printing with special high-temperature materials, such as PEEK, PEEK-CF, PEI, PEKK, and PPSU, which may otherwise have poor (or too strong) adhesion on standard steel sheets. Basic materials such as PLA or PETG do not adhere very well, as this print sheet was developed for high-performance, high-temperature materials.

The HighTemp print sheet sheet is made for the Prusa Pro HT90 printer only.

Main attributes

  • Compatible with advanced high-temperature materials: PEEK/PEKK, PEI, PPSU.
  • Great high-temperature resistance: resists multiple cycles at temperatures over 100 °C.
  • Better wear resistance: better than standard PEI surface.
  • Textured surface similar to the standard TXT sheet.
  • Double-sided! Both sides can be used repeatedly.
  • Easy maintenance and good adhesion qualities.

Considerations

  • Never clean the sheet with IPA, acetone, or any other alcohol-based solvents! This will damage the surface.
  • Clean with dish soap and water when the sheet is cold.
  • For good adhesion properties and easy print removal, clean the print surface with dish soap and water before every printing.
  • Unsuitable for PLA and PETG. The HighTemp sheet is not suitable for printing with basic materials, as they may not stick too well (or at all).
  • Keep the sheet as clean as possible! Any grease stain will decrease adhesion.
  • Not scratch-resistant! Do not use metal spatulas with sharp edges to remove the prints. Be extremely careful when removing the print.
  • Fingerprints will mark the sheet. A good indication of where your sheet is dirty/greasy, and that you need to clean it.
  • Some types of paper towels may leave traces on the sheet (fiber pieces).
  • Let the prints cool down inside the printer to avoid introducing thermal stress.
Consumable parts, such as print sheets (satin, smooth, textured, etc.), are not covered by warranty as the coatings will diminish over time. Unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship, cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents, cracks, or other cosmetic damage, is also not covered by the warranty. Only defective sheets on arrival are covered by warranty.

Supported filaments

We have done a lot of testing and compiled our results for you to use. Here’s a list of supported HT materials:

  • PEEK, PEEK-CF, PEEK-GF
  • PEI1010, PEI 9085, PEI-CF
  • PEKK, PEKK-CF
  • PES
  • PPSU
  • PSU

Notes

After removing the 3D-printed object, you may notice a visible imprint on the sheet’s surface. This is only a visual change: it doesn’t leave any marks on the next 3D-printed parts and does not affect the printing properties in any way. Therefore, it’s not considered a reason for a warranty claim.

As a result of the temperatures to which the sheet is exposed during printing, some parts on the bottom surface, which is in direct contact with the heatbed, may become slightly glossier or with a different shade. This visual change does not adversely affect the printing properties and is also not considered a reason for a warranty claim.
