As opposed to 3D printers like MK2 or MK3S, on the Original Prusa MINI, the extruder motor is not installed on the print head, moving along the X-axis. Instead, it’s fixed on the side and pushes filament through the extruder PTFE tube (bowden tube), to the print head.
