⬢Some parts on your printer can be used for upgrading, it is essential to check their condition before you start upgrading. This chapter will guide you through the visual inspection of all these parts. If you find a part in poor condition, you have plenty of time to order a new one and continue using the printer in the meantime.
Do not disassemble or disconnect anything until prompted.
The following instructions use the MK3S+ printer as an example. Some parts may be slightly different from previous models.
⬢Any parts that are found to be in poor condition during the inspection can be replaced with new parts. Everything is available in our eshop.

Original Prusa i3 MK3/MK3S/MK3S+ to MK4 upgrade (1.01)
This upgrade manual deals with a standalone MK3S+, ours is built into the enclosure. Before we - once again - install oh so many cable ways that are only hours later torn down, could you please devise a upgrade manual for printers in their housing? This could save considerable time to build! The same goes for the modifications of the quick-release interface to the PSU! Thanks!
Please if possible advise customer to perform a parts check before ordering their upgrade kit. During my parts check I realised my Y rods were scratched, so I had to order new parts. This cost me additional shipping fees - and because I'm in the uk import fees that totaled to twice the cost of the new parts. If I had done the parts check before ordering, I would have saved nearly 100£. Thanks!
