The CW1S can wash your liquid resin prints in a Stainless steel liquid container (gastro pan) filled with isopropyl alcohol (IPA). When the washing is being done, the IPA will form a small vortex due to the spinning part on the bottom of the tank.
If there is a gap too wide between the magnetic propeller and the platform, the vortex will not be formed in the IPA. To fix that, it is necessary to lift the platform.
Lifting the platform
Before starting this process, print this spacer: CW1S Propeller Spacer Tool.
Then, follow the instructions below.
- Pull up the platform by hand.
- Use a 2 mmAleen key to tighten the grub screw to loosen the screw on the side of the platform star assembly. Do not remove the screw, just loosen it enough so that the platform can move up or down.
- Take the spacer previously printed and slide it under the star assembly to adjust the height of the star assembly.
- Tighten the screw against the flat part of the motor shaft. When the star assembly no longer moves up or down, remove the spacer.
- Install the platform back and try washing your object again.
