The Prusa CORE One, and the Original Prusa XL, MK4/S, MK3.9/S are equipped with a loadcell. Thanks to this component, starting from firmware 6.0.0, the printer can detect whether the filament is stuck and not moving, for example when the nozzle is clogged.
If this is detected, the print pauses and the printer shows the message: "Stuck filament detected. The filament seems to be stuck. Please unload it from the extruder and load it again."
Once the unload button is pressed, the printer unloads the filament. After this, it prompts filament loading and resumes the print.
It is important to note that detecting stuck filament is possible only inside the Nextruder, as pressure builds up from the nozzle to the upper part of the Nextruder. However, if your filament is tangled on the spool, there will be no internal pressure, just outside tension, which the loadcell won't recognize.
Stuck filament detection won't be possible on MK3.5 and MINI/MINI+ as they aren't equipped with the loadcell sensor.

It prints the first color, first layer just fine. When it starts the second color it tries to print the wipe layer but stops and gives me this message.
I've loaded the second extruder with filament and it pumps out filament just fine.
I've tried tightening the nozzle screw but it's good and firm.
If I print to the second extruder it seems to fail about 50% through, with the extruder clicking.
The guy I got it from is not available at this point, not sure if he knows the answer anyway, so here I am.
Is there something special I need to do to do a two color print? FWIW - I have an MK3+MMU2S on r and have lots of multi color experience. So this is my first time riding an XL in this rodeo. ;-)
I doudt its related to stuck filement, as it's only when starting a new print. After reloading it works again
Any suggestions hoe to solve
P.S. I have a theory about why this is happening in my case. I am noticing that the first layer is sometimes going so low and thin that hardly any filament is coming out. Sometimes even jamming sounds are coming. This might be what is causing the problem maybe if I recalibrate or adjust the height of the first layer, the problem will be solved. 😉
To check for the nozzle position, you can refer to the "Check if the nozzle is not loose" paragraph from this article https://help.prusa3d.com/article/nozzle-cleaning-failed-xl_395809, even if you are not receiving that particular warning message.
