Incomplete file - Testing if file ( .gcode) is complete
Incomplete file error message occurs when there is a problem with the generated G-code and it could potentially fail the whole print. The printer automatically looks for common G-codes which indicate the end of the generated file. If they are not detected, you will get a warning. You can still continue printing if you wish, but you should probably examine the file.
How to prevent incomplete files (G-codes)?
- Simply make sure that you have completely exported the G-code to your PC or SD card.
- Double check that you did not delete any of the start and end G-code (pic. below how these should look like) in PrusaSlicer
- Try to Safely Remove the SD card from your computer, otherwise, you may end up with corrupt data.
- If none of the suggestions above work, there is a chance your SD card is corrupted. So please try to use another SD card just to test if this is the cause of the problem.
