Seconded. I am a newbie to 3D, Prusa, and have a MK4 kit on order. It took a bit of sleuthing on Prusa and the ED sites in order to learn sufficent information on how assembly a spare MK4 hotend assembly using the individual components, including the V6 adapter, Prusa heater element, and Prusa thermistor. Key information is needed to ensure the thermistor set screw in not excessivley tightened and thereby broken.
Whats missing from this guide ?Well if someone needs to assemble the complete Nextruder hotend from parts. Perhaps the heater or thermistor failed. So, the nextruder hotend is only available in parts: Heatblock, Heater, Thermistor, Nozzle tube or Nozzle Adaptor tube. There needs to be a guide on how to assemble it all correctly.
You are right. The guide should contain both the first preparation before installation and the finishing procedure with heating and retightening. The guide should also contain the procedure for swapping only the nozzels afterwards. The quick swapping procedure is only valid when using complete hotends in my opinion. It is not a quick procedure just to swap nozzels with the heating and cooling.Specially not if you swap between the originally Prusa hotend and the V6 adaptor.
