Products purchased directly from our e-shop at shop.prusa3d.com are covered under our warranty. 

Warranty periods

Pre-assembled printer (Original Prusa i3 MK3 or i3 MK2)

With the fully assembled printer, you receive a full warranty for all components. Our support team is ready to assist you with any issues that may appear.

Warranty periods for EU region and the rest of the world: 

  • 2-year warranty for consumers from the EU
  • 1-year warranty for enterprises from the EU 
  • 1-year warranty for the rest of the World 

This warranty might be voided by:

  • Any damage caused by improper use, maintenance or operation of the printer. For proper guidelines, always refer to our 3D Printing handbook (which can be found at prusa3d.com/drivers) or simply contact our official support
  • Using upgrades or add-ons which are not officially supported.

Kit (Original Prusa i3 MK3 or i3 MK2)

With the kit, you receive a warranty only for the electronic parts. We cannot guarantee the assembly part since it's not under our control. Still, you can contact our support if you encounter any issues during or after the assembly.

Warranty periods for EU region and rest of the world: 

  • 2-year warranty for consumers from the EU
  • 1-year warranty for enterprises from the EU 
  • 1-year warranty for the rest of the World 

This warranty might be voided in cases such as:

  • Any damages caused by improper assembly of the product. For proper procedures, always follow our assembly manuals.
  • Any damage caused by improper use, maintenance or operation of the printer. For proper guidelines, always refer to our 3D Printing handbook (which can be found at prusa3d.com/drivers) or simply contact our official support
  • Upgrades or add-ons which are not officially supported.

How to handle a warranty case 

Your warranty case must be submitted to our official support channels or to a recognized re-seller. The case will be inspected and handled. Depending on its severity and warranty status, a replacement part will be sent or the whole product will be replaced without any additional charges.

Documentation needed for a warranty case:

  1. The number of the original invoice containing the product (and the product's serial number) for which the warranty claim is being requested.
  2. A brief description of the problem along with the clear evidence of its presence (e.g. photos or videos)

Photos or videos are the best way how to speed up the warranty process.
