What happened?
The printer is equipped with a filament sensor that can detect filament presence. In case the filament is not detected when the printer expects it to be loaded, the printer shows the message "Filament not detected. Load filament now? Select NO to cancel the print. Select DISABLE FS to disable the filament sensor and continue print"
Error name: Filament not detected
Error code: #31804 (CORE One) #26804 (MK4S) #27804 (MK3.9S) #28804 (MK3.5S) #13804 (MK4) #21804 (MK3.9) #23804 (MK3.5) #17804 (XL) #12804 (MINI)
How to fix it?
The possible actions depend on the specific scenario.
If the filament is not inserted in the hotend, load it using the Load filament function from the printer menu.
In case the print encountered a problem or skipped parts as a result of the filament not being detected, select NO to cancel the print.
In case the print can be continued without issues, but the sensor doesn't detect the filament being inserted, consider selecting DISABLE FS.
In this scenario, after the print and with the printer fully cooled down and off, check our troubleshooting articles, depending on your printer model, for the filament sensor. Do not hesitate to contact our Customer Support at any time.

I only see something about when the filament is persistently detected.
I've just managed the time to install my MK4S->Core One kit and I need to remove and insert the filament dozens of times before it is detected by the hotend. The filament sensor readout is very high (1000000+) no matter whether the filament is inserted or not.
(The enclosure filament sensor is working correctly)
edit: A few hours later, I decided to troubleshoot a bit further, and this is something bizarre.
I found out that, when I'd insert filament directly (without going to the menu first), it would detect the filament and then tell me to insert the filament through the sensor (like if I had just removed the filament). So I took the extruder out to clean the ball and the spring.
So I went to the filament sensor reading and found out it is inverted!
Without filament, it is reading INS / ~29500. when I insert the filament in, I get NINS / ~1870000.
Did I invert a cable or this is a bug? The sensor worked perfectly when I got the MK4 and then with the MK4S.
